"In 1995 I was an art student at a local community college. In addition to that I was learning to sew and started making wallets and handbags for my friends. I created Julius as a decoration for my accessories. He was inspired by a sock monkey my grandma hand made for my dad when he was a child. Julius would soon take on many looks and themes."
